Be the unseen hero in someone else’s story!

THE CHALLENGE: We are facing a blood crisis. In Romania, only 1.7% of the population donates blood regularly, compared to the European average of 10%^*. The low rate of blood donation is due to the fact that people do not have a culture of doing good^**.

THE SOLUTION: In February 2024, the pastel Association is implementing the Secret Donor project, a blood donation campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and encourage people to become regular donors. One person can save, on average, 3 lives every time they donate blood! For three days, February 20-22, we celebrate the month of love with a noble gesture that is so easy for us, but which for those in need can mean a chance at life.

EXPECTED IMPACT: In just three days, we can save the lives of 500 people!

YOU CAN HELP: There are several ways you can contribute to the success of the Secret Donor campaign:

• Donate blood. If you are eligible to donate blood, come join us in the period February 20-22 at the pastel Association headquarters in Ardeleni street, no. 33.
• Support the campaign with a donation. Your donations will be used to cover the costs of the campaign and to support the association’s mission.

Share. Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about the Secret Donor campaign and encourage them to donate blood.
