Refresh – May 2024

On May 23, the Day for the Protection of Environmental Health is celebrated internationally, a day that inspired us to dedicate the month of May to various green actions, so necessary for the environment:

• In 2022, together with 60 volunteers, we collected 6 tons of waste from the Văcărești Natural Park;
• In 2023, together with 130 volunteers, we collected over a ton of waste from Băneasa Forest;
• In 2024 our mission continues!

THE CHALLENGE: One of the main problems faced by residents in green spaces in the city of Bucharest/Ilfov is waste pollution. This situation has serious consequences for the health of the environment and implicitly for people and animals.

THE SOLUTION: The responsibility to take care of our environment is ours. So in May 2024 we will organize an action to sanitize a green space in Bucharest/Ilfov.

EXPECTED IMPACT: By implementing the “Refresh” project year after year and by involving the company’s employees in greening actions, we contribute to the development of a mentality to protect the environment and reduce waste pollution. A mindset that will create a greener future for the next generations year after year.

YOU CAN HELP: Join us to make Bucharest a greener and healthier city. There are several ways you can get involved:

• Be a volunteer. Come with us to refresh the next green space in Bucharest, Ilfov. We will be back soon with all the details regarding the date, time and venue.
• Support the “Refresh” project with a donation. Your donations will be used to cover organizational costs and support the association’s mission.
• Share. Tell your friends, family and colleagues about the May Project and encourage them to volunteer.
