Togheter for Amara – the third edition – December 2023

This year marks an important anniversary since we are Giving to Amara. Our colleague Andreea has been taking care of the community of vulnerable children for 10 years, each time we have all been involved in the different stages of the project, and for 3 years we have had the opportunity, as an ONG, to do even more good. Going there is always a joy because we know that the 80 children always welcome us with a lot of warmth.

We are giving to children who have only one parent or none, to children left in the care of their grandparents while their parents fight for a better life in another country. To parents who have nothing to prepare the Christmas Eve meal with. We are giving to show children that wishes written on a piece of paper really can come true. We give to those who understand loneliness and deprivation far too early in life. The future for them is always an uncertain tomorrow.

That’s why we feel like giving for Amara. We want to believe that when we visit them again this year, these children will feel that they are seen, heard, and valued.

There is a day care center in Amara. There, and only there, children between the ages of 6 and 14 gather to do homework, to play and, most importantly, to have a hot meal a day. We dream of filling the center again with gifts, clothes, shoes and basic food. We dream of giving them a moment of normality.

We’ll package the items and deliver them to the Day Center. For the first option, donate by pressing the button below. Regarding the second option, we are waiting for physical donations at our headquarters at 33 Ardeleni Street.

Together, we can be Santa’s goblins and fulfill some of the wishes of these children. They deserve the worm feeling that comes from eating well, wearing new clothes and to enjoy the momorable feeling of gathering around the tree without thinking about the future.
